It's a BOY

Around 17 weeks, our Gynae guessed that it could be a Boy! We were so happy and wish that it could be true! True enough, the ultrasound scan at 20 week visit confirmed that it's a BOY! Our wishes come true. It's the first grandson of Daddy Htun Htun's parents and the very first grandchild of Mummy May's parents too. We spread our good news to parents, parents-in-law, relatives, friends...and even at Mummy May's FaceBook! The expected due date was 21/01/2010. He's going to be an Ox year born baby. Lucky enough that he's not a Tiger baby. Anyway, we were a bit afraid of Tiger baby boy after reading the characters and nature of Tiger baby boy.

Mummy May started to read books & googled a lot how to be a healthy mum, to give to an intelligent & heathy baby. Daddy Htun Htun queried around from his experienced friends.

Mummy May craved for Grapes and had a lot of grapes to relieve from the morning sickness and craving of grapes continued. Mummy learnt & made notes of DOs and DON'Ts during pregnancy. Mostly I had small fishes knowing that fish is the best nutrients to develop baby's brain. I avoided fishes with high mercury level.

Only thing that I found it difficult to cut down is coffee coz I love coffee and drinks 2, 3 cups a day. Yet I tried to cut down to 1 cup a day & chose decaf coffee.

We chose Mt.Alvernia hospital which is the nearest to our place and traffic is smoother compared to TMC. It's a private hospital and heard that the services there are quite good. We first booked double-bedded room and later changed to single-bedded room.

Mummy listened to Mozart music most of the time because I read that Mozart music can help stimulate foetus's brain. Both Mummy & Daddy talked to you, felt your kicks at night before we slept. Mummy had great time having our lil prince in my womb. My lil prince was so big even in my tummy and people thought that I was having twins. I was so blessed having our lil prince. Daddy kept smiling all the time as he pleased a great deal to feel you in mummy's big tummy.

Before 28 weeks, Mummy came up with a hospital bag checklist & we got to shop things which were to bring to hospital and got ready the bag.
